yum install esound-libs

The module relies on the mpg123 software. 

cd /to/some/directory (e.g. cd /usr/local/src)
wget http://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/mpg123/mpg123/1.23.4/mpg123-1.23.4.tar.bz2
bunzip2 mpg123-1.23.4.tar.bz2
